What We Love about the 90s Section at Pop Century

Despite it's distance from Classic Hall we really love the '90s section at Pop. The themeing is great - the building stairwells are "old style" cell phones (remember those beasts?!?). And the words on the buildings include "You Go Girl," "Da Bomb," and "Surf the Net."

Enjoy a Poolside Cocktail at the Petals Pool Bar

Stop by the Petals Pool Bar located near the Hippy Dippy Pool on a hot summer day for a cool and refreshing Pina CoLAVA or Orange Dream. And then strike up a game of ping pong at the nearby table or just relax poolside and soak up the Florida sunshine.

Taking the Bus from Pop Century

The hotels at the Walt Disney World Resort all have one thing in common - convenient transportation options to the theme parks, water parks, and Downtown Disney. Whether you drove to Disney or arrived via plane and Magical Express, you can leave the driving to Disney during your stay.

Why Our Heart Belongs to Pop Century

Most Disney fans have their "favorite" resort - one they keep going back to, despite the fact that "stay in every Walt Disney World Resort" is at the top of their Disney bucket list. For us, that favorite resort is Pop Century. Find out why we love it so much!

Movies Under the Stars at Disney's Pop Century Resort

If you decide to spend a relaxing evening at the resort, why not have dinner at Everything Pop, spend some time at the pool, and then stop by the Hippy Dippy Pool Deck around 9 p.m. for a "Movie Under the Stars"? Sounds like a great way to spend an evening with the family!

Our Top 5 Things to Do When You're Having a 'Resort Day' at Pop Century

Sometimes in the hustle and bustle of a Walt Disney World vacation you need a "vacation from your vacation." You need a day off. A day of rest. Or what we like to call a "resort day." And we have some ideas on how to pass the time during your resort day to almost-guarantee you won't hear "we're so bored!"

Easter Sunday Activities Planned at Pop Century

Disney's Pop Century Resort has some egg-citing activities planned for guests on Easter Sunday! Most of the fun is planned at the Hippy Dippy Pool, but guests can also take part in a "guess how much candy is in the jar" game! And, at 8:30 p.m. guests can watch the Sunday night movie under the stars - Winnie the Pooh - at the pool.

The Pools of Pop Century

If there's one thing that sets Disney resorts apart from other hotels in the Orlando area, it's the themed swimming pools. There are so many amazing pools on Disney property that it's hard to pick one favorite. Lucky for us, Pop Century has three great pools for guests to enjoy year-round. With that many choices it might be hard to pick a favorite, but we're going to try.

Location! Location! Location! Does room location matter at Pop Century?

One of the best things about Disney’s Pop Century Resort is the unique themeing. Whether you’re a fan of the 1980s or love the groovy-ness of the 1960s, there’s bound to be something for everyone when you’re at Pop Century. And as much as we love the oversized Rubik’s Cubes, Lady and the Tramp, and Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head, we wondered if location wasn’t somehow more important to guests than the building's theme.
